The concept is beautifully simple: 100 photographers sharing their single favorite photograph, accompanied by a brief description of why that particular image matters to them. It's about the stories behind the images that define photographers' journeys.For photographers wanting to share work that matters to them and the stories that give these images meaning, this is your opportunity to be featured (no submission fees).Submission Details:
- Your single most meaningful photograph (high-resolution, max. 1600px on longest side)- A brief description (max 300 characters) explaining why this image is significant to you- Your website and/or social media handle to feature alongside your workPlease submit before the end of April to:

Issue #8 will be released on Tuesday July 1, 2025Submit your photography project for consideration in an upcoming issue of Darkrooms Magazine. We're looking for compelling visual narratives comprising 12-15 images, accompanied by a 500-word essay that explores both your project's concept and creative process. Selected projects will receive thoughtful review and publication exposure to our global photography community.
